I’m really bad with music genres, so I’m not even going to attempt to label Malajube’s music. One thing I do know for sure though is that they get you going - oh and that they play entirely in French. Having worked with some of the best in the Canadian music industry for their sophomore effort Trompe-l’oeil like producer Ryan Battistuzzi (who’s also worked with the likes of everyone’s favourite Death From Above 1979), you know they mean business. Despite the language barrier, the band has broken into and received phenomenal success in English Canada and has even found themselves fans all over the world including this girl here in KL. Yeah that’s how good they are. But we’ll let you be the judge of that.
